Meet Karolina
Karolina Powalka is the founder of Artena Law and a dedicated business, sports and entertainment attorney.
Growing up as the daughter of a business owner, she was immersed in discussions about challenges, risks, and opportunities, shaping her entrepreneurial spirit and deep respect for the individuals behind the businesses she serves.
Karolina combines a strong foundation from her big firm training with a belief that hiring a lawyer should always be a straightforward and approachable experience.Her mission is to ensure that clients feel genuinely supported, not just as if they’ve hired an attorney, but as though they’ve gained a partner invested in their success.
Karolina works closely with entrepreneurs, business leaders, and creatives, guiding them through the legal and strategic decisions that shape their businesses. Her experience spans a diverse range of industries and entities, from family-owned businesses to global corporations, handling matters such as enterprise contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property licensing, fundraising, and complex commercial transactions.
As a business owner herself, Karolina understands the intricacies of turning vision into reality. She combines a keen ability to see the big picture with the discipline to implement it, helping clients build strong legal foundations and scalable frameworks that create wealth, opportunity, and meaningful impact.
Outside of practice, Karolina serves on the Board of FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation, a nonprofit providing art, music, and recreational therapy to individuals with disabilities.
